I purchased this dryer (and Washer) from Weston's because they said it was the "Speed Queen Killer" but larger capacity and more affordable. I should have never listened to them.
The good: commercial grade parts, 5 yr warranty, does a good job drying, seems to really get the lint out of things, you can put the door on either side.
The bad: there is no way to dry delicates on a low heat setting -- only air fluff which is useless. Overall not the quietest of machines and the kicker is the obnoxiously loud buzzer at the end that goes on forever and CAN'T be turned off.

It dries clothes without the need for a ton of odd settings and features of other modern setups. The minus one star is for the god awful end of cycle buzzer that you can't disable. Don't run the dryer at bedtime or you'll be rudely awakened by it.

Would give this dryer 5 stars as it is a workhorse, but the loud, long buzzer that sounds at the end of cycle really detracts from the quality of the product. Who thought this buzzer that cannot be turned off was a good idea? It startles me every time it goes off. You can't do a late night or early morning load because it wakes everyone up when it alarms. I wish there was some kind of fix to be able to disable the buzzer.

We purchased it new and noticed the dryer had continuous thumping sound as the drum rotated. Thought there was something wrong with it and had it serviced. Tech stated the built had a bump in it and it would eventually go away. It has been several months and it is still thumping along!

This dryer would be perfect if it had the following features added:
1) ability to control the buzzer which is loud and highly annoying
2) put a light inside the dryer

The dryer was delivered with a very noticeable and unsightly manufacturing ding on the control panel that never should have passed quality control. The various sections of the dryer do not align with each other, like some kind of Frankenstein machine. Also, the timer knob is almost 10 minutes off! When the dry cycle finishes, it still shows it has almost 10 minutes to go. The end of cycle buzzer is obnoxious, and sounds twice, and can't be disabled. I honestly did not want a GE dryer, but due to supply chain issues, I got stuck with this machine.
It dries the clothes well, has good capacity, and is fairly quiet. But for over $1000, the above defects are simply unacceptable.

This really feels like a commercial quality dryer. We are replacing a 45 year old Maytag dryer which gave more years than we dreamt. We are hoping this product can withstand a quarter of the maytag's life. Time will tell. But this looks promising.

The Dryer works great!! Usually only takes one cycle even for bulky items. The biggest issue is when the clothes are dry, a long loud buzzer sounds to let you know it's finished. Makes it hard to do clothes early in the day or late at night.

We love our new GE Commercial dryer. It is efficient and easy to use and looks great in my laundry room! We replaced front loaders with these and couldn't be happier. My only complaint is the loud buzzer signaling the end of the cycle. Unfortunately there is no way to turn it off and it scares my baby whenever if goes off! Regardless, we love the commercial washer/dryer combo and would highly recommend.

Size of dryer is great, it dries clothes quickly and everything is dry at same time (with my previous dryer I would remove clothes as they dried, sometimes going back to the dryer 3 or more times)

I purchased this commercial grade, simple features GE dryer about a month ago. I needed a dryer with a bit more modest dimensions and found this model was available to match a G.E. washer. So far, the machine has gotten a workout and done just fine. I'm satisfied with good drying times on a variety of loads from bedding to dress shirts and pants. It has all the basic functions down pat and well so. I thought I would miss the delicate heat level (it has high, medium ,and air fluff). I don't miss the low heat level and just use medium for a bit less time. So far, so good. Machine is quieter than expected too . That is important as the machine is close to my mancave. Two thumbs up.

Our last dryer lasted 32 years and was still working, but we replaced it at the same time as our washer. This dryer was recommended to be as close to what we had for its commercial construction. Also, we liked the manual rather than electronic controls for perceived reliability.

Large dyer drum with a LIGHT to see fry those missing socks, Easy controls to operate and although I originally had y dryer vent cleaner 3 months. The dryer did better but this new dryer, is faster, larger and cooler to the operating outside area
